Special Advisor, S&P Global
Doug Peterson serves as a special advisor to S&P Global and is a member of the company’s Board of Directors. He was President and Chief Executive Officer from 2013 until November 1, 2024. He joined the company in 2011 as President of its credit ratings business.
Through a mix of organic investments and strategic transactions, including the successful integration of IHS Markit in 2022, Mr. Peterson repositioned S&P Global to realize its vision of “Powering Global Markets” with data, analytics, and benchmarks. His commitment to the company’s people, customers, and partners, and his focus on international expansion, cutting-edge technology, AI, innovation, and sustainability services are the cornerstones of the company’s strategy.
Mr. Peterson is a leading voice on sustainability and energy transition. He serves on the Board of the UN Global Compact, and in 2021 he led a workstream of the G7’s Impact Taskforce to mobilize private capital through consistent global standards to measure, value, and account for sustainability.
Before joining S&P Global, Mr. Peterson was the Chief Operating Officer of Citibank. Over his 26 years at Citigroup, he served as CEO of Citigroup Japan, Chief Auditor, and in leadership roles in Latin America.
Mr. Peterson serves on the Boards of a range of nonprofit business-related, academic and arts organizations.
Born and raised in New Mexico, Mr. Peterson received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from Claremont McKenna College.

Swamy Kocherlakota is Executive Vice President, Chief Digital Solutions Officer of S&P Global and the Executive Sponsor of Kensho, an artificial intelligence (AI) technology innovator within S&P Global. He is responsible for driving the Company's digital transformation and delivering productivity improvements for customers and colleagues.
With a focus on leading-edge technology, digital ecosystems and AI, Mr. Kocherlakota and his team are responsible for building a secure, scalable and resilient foundation that helps S&P Global power global markets.
Prior to joining S&P Global, Mr. Kocherlakota was Senior Vice President, Global Head of Technology Operations & Infrastructure at Visa Inc., where he oversaw global infrastructure and applications that processed more than 130 billion transactions annually.
Before Visa, Mr. Kocherlakota was head of Global Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture at Bank of New York Mellon Corp and led their infrastructure transformation. Mr. Kocherlakota has been recognized as a Distinguished Engineer at Lucent Bell Labs, where he managed technology for Lucent and its ventures.
In addition to his role as Chief Digital Solutions Officer, Mr. Kocherlakota sponsors S&P Global’s Asian Professionals for Excellence (APEX) People Resource Group, which is focused on building leadership competencies and increasing opportunities for personal, professional and community success for its members.
Mr. Kocherlakota is a Registered Representative of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Michigan State University.

Martina L. Cheung is President, CEO, and a member of the Board of Directors of S&P Global.
Previously, Ms. Cheung was President of S&P Global Ratings and served as the Executive Lead of S&P Global Sustainable1. Earlier, she was President of S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Ms. Cheung joined the Company in 2010 as Vice President of Operations for S&P Global Ratings and went on to serve as S&P Global’s Chief Strategy Officer. She also was Head of Risk Services for S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Prior to joining S&P Global, Ms. Cheung worked for Accenture’s Financial Services Strategy group and later as a Partner at Mitchell Madison Consulting.
Ms. Cheung was named one of the Most Powerful Women in Finance by American Banker and included on the list of Influential Women in Institutional Investing by Pensions & Investments in 2024. Also in 2024, INvolve named her to its 100 Empower Executives list for the second consecutive year. Ms. Cheung received the Merit Award from The Women's Bond Club in 2022. In addition, she was honored at the 2022 Ascend A-List Awards for advancing Pan-Asian professionals, and she was inducted into the Academy of Women Leaders by the YWCA New York City in 2016.
Ms. Cheung is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Economic Club of New York, and served on the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC) subcommittee on Climate-Related Market Risk.
Ms. Cheung serves on the Board of Trustees for Catholic Charities New York and was a member of the Board of CRISIL, a global analytics company and India’s leading credit ratings agency.

Dimitra is Executive Vice President, Chief Purpose Officer of S&P Global. She oversees People, Marketing, Corporate Responsibility, DEI, and Communications. She serves as a board member at S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC, S&P Global Foundation, and the British American Business Inc. where she also serves on the Nominating and Compensation Committee.
A bold, inspirational leader, Dimitra is known for leading award-winning teams through transformations. She is a trusted advisor to CEOs, executive teams, and boards of directors on business, compensation, organizational change, diversity, talent strategies, M&A, and crisis management.
Dimitra is renowned for leading a “People First” experience that continues to make a lasting impact on people, customers, and local communities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dimitra co-led the S&P Global COVID-19 Steering Committee and informed the CEO and Board of Directors on critical business continuity decisions. Building on extensive experience leading business transformations, Dimitra acts as executive sponsor for strategic initiatives that drive business growth or build foundational capabilities. She was a member of the steering committee for S&P Global’s merger with IHS Markit and is leading integration for People, Marketing, Corporate Responsibility, DEI, and Communications.
Before joining S&P Global, Dimitra had a breadth of experience as a People leader. A native Australian, Dimitra has lived and worked in many countries across North America, Europe, and Asia. Dan Draper is Chief Executive Officer at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI), responsible for all aspects of the index business globally. S&P DJI is the world’s leading index provider and offers investment professionals around the world an array of products from core indices such as the S&P 500® to broad comprehensive benchmarks.
Before joining S&P DJI, Mr. Draper held asset management, wealth management and investment banking leadership positions in New York, London, Hong Kong and Jakarta with Invesco, Credit Suisse Asset Management, Lyxor Asset Management, iShares/Barclays Global Investors, Goldman Sachs, UBS Wealth Management and Salomon Brothers.
Mr. Draper earned an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charterholder and holds the Chartered Market Technician®, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, Financial Risk Manager, Certified Financial Planner® and Chartered Financial Consultant® designations.
Mr. Draper is Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development (CED) of The Conference Board and former Chairperson for the Index Industry Association. He is a chartered director and fellow at the Institute of Directors in the U.K. and a board leadership fellow at the National Association of Corporate Directors in the U.S. In addition, he is a fellow of the 2017 class of the Aspen Institute Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
Mr. Draper serves as a board director for the Lyric Opera of Chicago and Delta Dental of Virginia. He is a member of the Board of Advisors, Center for Excellence in Investment Management at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, as well as the Board of Advisors of the Boehly Center at the Mason School of the College of William & Mary.

Sally Moore is Executive Vice President, Chief Client Officer for S&P Global and a member of the Company’s Executive Leadership Team.
Ms. Moore is responsible for leading enterprise commercial strategy and driving strategic account management at scale, along with leading Strategic Alliances, Marketing and Branding. She also chairs S&P Global’s Regional Shared Network and serves as regional leader for the UK, helping to set the company’s strategic direction locally and across the globe.
Ms. Moore joined S&P Global through the merger with IHS Markit, where she was Global Head of Corporate Development & Strategic Alliances. At S&P Global she was appointed Global Head of Strategy, M&A and Partnerships, responsible for defining the firm’s corporate strategy, leading on portfolio reviews and executing acquisitions, divestitures, JVs and venture investments and led the Integration Management Office for the merger.
When she joined Markit in 2006, Ms. Moore led the European credit business and global loan business. Previously, she spent six years at Thomson Reuters, as Co-head of the Loan Pricing Corporation's operations in Europe and later as a Senior Vice President and Co-head of Sales in North America.
Ms. Moore sits on the Board of Accuris, Illuminate Financial and BritishAmerican Business (BAB) and is an observer on the Board of OSTTRA.
In 2021 Ms. Moore became a founding member of the UK's National Numeracy Leadership Council and she is actively involved in S&P Global's DEI efforts, in particular gender diversity.
For her work and achievements, she was named one of the Most Influential Women in Finance by Financial News in 2018 and 2024 and was honored by INvolve as a member of the HERoes Top 100 Women Executives list in 2021.

Adam Kansler is former President of S&P Global Market Intelligence which delivers a wide range of financial information products and services, including some of the world’s leading desktop, data, analytics and software solutions. He is a member of the executive committee of S&P Global.
Prior to the merger between S&P Global and IHS Markit, Adam was President of the IHS Markit Financial Services division and member of the IHS Markit executive team. In this role he drove organic growth, acquisitions and strategic initiatives, expanding the division to over 6,000 colleagues globally and approximately $2 billion of revenue.
Adam had previously served as the company’s Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel where he led the human resources, legal, corporate communications, risk, regulatory affairs and strategic alliances functions.
Before joining Markit in 2009, Adam spent 17 years with Proskauer LLP as a corporate partner, focused on M&A, banking and securities regulation, and complex joint-venture transactions. Adam holds a B.A. in economics from Hobart College and received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
Adam has participated on advisory boards for government agencies and industry groups, including The World Economic Forum at Davos and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. President, Market Intelligence / Chief Enterprise Data Officer
Saugata serves as President of S&P Global Market Intelligence, leading the division's efforts to deliver essential insights and intelligence to clients worldwide. He is also S&P Global’s Chief Enterprise Data Officer, responsible for driving innovation and excellence in the company’s enterprise data strategy. Saugata is a member of S&P Global’s Executive Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the organization.
In previous roles, Saugata served as President of the Commodity Insights division and as Chief Financial Officer for both the S&P Global Market Intelligence and S&P Global Platts divisions. Earlier in his tenure at S&P Global, he led financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and corporate strategy, oversaw operations and finance for the central technology group, and directed the integration program for a significant acquisition. Saugata also led the strategy team within S&P Global’s Ratings division.
Before joining S&P Global, Saugata was a consultant at McKinsey & Company’s New York office, where he advised clients on strategy, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and operational improvements across various industries, with a strong focus on financial services.
Saugata began his career at The Godrej Group, a $4 billion diversified conglomerate based in Mumbai, India. During his seven years at Godrej, he held leadership roles in sales, spearheaded supply chain re-engineering initiatives, and worked closely with the Office of the Group Chairman on strategic initiatives.
Saugata holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with Honors from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, India; a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the Xavier Institute in Bhubaneswar, India; and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a George F. Baker Scholar.

Steve Kemps is Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer of S&P Global and a member of the Company’s Executive Leadership Team. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing legal operations and advising the Company on the potential business impacts of changing laws. He is also responsible for the Corporate Risk & Compliance, Global Security and Government Affairs functions.
Prior to joining S&P Global, Mr. Kemps served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Quanta Services, where he oversaw all legal affairs and advised the business on regulatory, ethical and compliance matters. Before joining Quanta, he served as General Counsel of Hess Retail Corporation and Dean Foods Company. Mr. Kemps has also held various senior legal positions with Kimberly-Clark Corporation and law firm Dorsey & Whitney, and has served as a Federal Law Clerk to Judge Paul A. Magnuson of the United States District Court, Minnesota.
Mr. Kemps earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin School of Business and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate.

Edouard Tavernier is the President of S&P Global Mobility, a division of S&P Global that operates a portfolio of leading information and technology products for the automotive sector and operates under several brands including CARFAX and automotiveMastermind. He is a member of S&P Global’s Executive Committee.
Edouard was appointed senior vice president and head of the IHS Markit Transportation division in 2016. Under Edouard’s leadership the transportation division, which comprised information businesses serving the automotive, maritime and trade and aerospace & defense sectors, expanded significantly through organic growth and through strategic acquisitions, including those of automotiveMastermind and Carproof.
Previously, Edouard was appointed head of IHS’s Automotive business in 2012. He led the acquisition and integration of Polk & Co. in 2013. He also served at IHS in several product leadership roles after joining the company in 2009.
Before joining IHS Markit, Mr. Tavernier held leadership positions at LexisNexis, including head of LexisNexis’ Client Development businesses in Europe, Canada and Latin America, and head of product management for Lexis Nexis’ Global Practice Management Solutions. Prior to this, he held management positions at Global Insight, World Markets Research Center and United Business Media. He also worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas.
Edouard holds a master’s degree in Business Studies from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in France.
